This slick black 1957 Chevy BelAir was built for the sole purpose to Cruise and Bruise. In other words it had to be able to cruise the highways in comfort, but when needed to, bruise the egos of those would be street adversaries who  dare challenge it. This 57 came to us with a good foundation but needed some help on the ride, handling, muscle and comfort department. We added an Art Morrison rear 4 link and 9 inch rear end to the stock chassis and installed a set of Ride Tech upper and lower control arms up front. It’s supported by a set of JRi coil over shocks o all 4 corners. The body was mildly de-badged and coated in Lo-Man Rods signature PPG Triple D Black That’s Deep Dark Delicious Black for those who don’t know.

Under the hood got its own treatment with a Blueprint Engines’ 427 Cubic Inch small block that puts out 530 horsepower.  It’s backed by a Gear Star 700R4 trans and converter. The custom made air cleaner pulls air in from the above the headlights and the big Dean’s radiator keep the temps in check. This give the car it’s bite if ego’s need put in check.

Inside got the full treatment from Jim Miller of Hide Originals. The Wise Guys buckets and stock rear seat were covered in a beautiful two tone leather and the door panels and headliner are a work of art. The interior and the stellar mods to the chassis were the two pieces to the puzzle that make this car able to Cruise like no other but still Bruise if needed.
